try:
1 playing the melody along with the recording.
2 playing the root notes of the chords (C note, Gnote - open and seventh fret on the C string)
3 Playing the actual chords along with the recording (C and G7)
4. Sing the melody as you do 1, 2, and 3.
B) Lion Sleeps Tonight
We did this in class. The chord progression goes C, F, C, G7.
try:
1.playing only the root notes on the C string, C (open) (F 5th fret) C (open) G (7th fret)2. the chords once each
3. strumming the chords along with the recording.
4. singing the melody as you do 1, 2, or 3.
