We worked on a major scale up the C string. I forgot to pass out the notes for that section so here they are. I will pass out the print outs next class:
We covered items 1 and 2 last night. 3 and 4 next class...
2. Twinkle Twinkle little star by ear. We started learning Twinkle Twinkle little star by ear. It has six notes (C to A)in it and can be played entirely on the C string. We proceeded like this in a slow methodical way.
Play notes: C, C, Pause to hear next note in our head then test it. maybe G!
Play notes: C, C, G, G, Sounds right! Maybe up one note to A after this.
Play notes: C, C, G, G, A, A, Right again! What's next maybe back down to G.
Play notes: C, C, G, G, A, A, G Good!
