As we covered in class, a good way to get a feel for the chord changes in a song is to play single notes to outline the chord changes. This is also very handy when learning how to sing and play at the same time. Many times students are so focused on trying to remember chords and chord shapes that they are unable to listen and follow how the song goes. Here is the single note version that we did in class. You can play these single notes along with the recording. Then try and play the single notes and sing the melody. FUN!
